Helpful maybe if the nose of the bike is pointed in the direction of the bikes's momentum when the retro blasters kick in.
My safe driving vote is for a cell phone lock out that inhibts all cell phone voice calls / texts while driving. 911, 511 and GPS functions would still be active. Of course people here in the States would scream bloody murder, conflating any attempt to mitigate their god-given right to distracted driving as a 1st amendment infringement.
