Heads up--a number of states are now starting to deploy blinking yellow arrow lights--BE CAREFUL!
What this means is that you need to yield and check for oncoming traffic before making the turn in the direction of the arrow. Also be aware that if you have right of way, cars may not yield and cut you off if they have the yellow arrow(!) since this is so new.

Virginia is one of the states in our area that has started to use them.
noted areas that I know of their deployment are around Newport News and Williamsburg around Busch Gardens
what I see as an issue laws on their use is not consistant and very from state to state.
like we need more driver confusion out there.
