Wow. As one of the guys in the video says, there are going to be some questions for the wheel manufacturer, whoever they are. There are some pretty fancy - and expensive - lightweight wheels made. I wonder exactly what made it fail.

I'm gonna go with either a bad bearing that siezed and basically ripped the hub from the spokes or just bad manufacturing of the wheel, maybe voids in the metal at the hub to spoke connection.

Either way that guy should head to the nearest 7-11 and pick up a lottery ticket.
